About a year ago the Gibraltar Bus Company embarked on a major investment plan and purchased a brand new fleet of vehicles. Gone are the buses with gravity assisted doors (the doors opened on acceleration and closed when braking!!), no longer can you see the road through the floorboards but not gone are the drivers. These guys must be the most friendly drivers in the world they (normally) have a smile, they do tend to stop for late passengers and they get those buses through the tiniest gaps, but do not worry if you miss one (traffic permitting) there will be another one along in 15-20 minutes!

The Fare Structure is fairly simple its 0.60p for a one-way ticket and 0.90p for a return fare. There will be season tickets and special concessionary travel fares at a later stage.

The Number Two

Route: Willis's Road to Winston Churchill Avenue - Winston Churchill Avenue to Willis's Road.

Departure Times from Willis's Road:

Monday to Friday: 0720, 0740, 0800, 0815, 0840, 0900, 0920, 0940, 1000, and at the same minutes past each hour until the last bus at 2100.

Saturday: 0900, 0930, 1000, 1030, 1100, 1130 and at the same times past each hour until the last bus at 2100.

Sunday: 0930, 1030, 1130, 1230 and at the same times past each hour until the last bus at 2030.

Departures Times from Winston Churchill Avenue:

Monday to Friday: 0720, 0740, 0800, 0820, 0840, 0900, and at the same times past each hour until the last bus at 2100.

Saturday: 0930, 1000, 1030, 1100, 1130, and at the same times past each hour until the last bus at 2100.

Sunday: 0900, 1000, 1100, 1200 and at the same times past each hour until the last bus at 2100.

The Number 3.

Route: Air Terminal to Europa Point - Europa Point to Air Terminal/Frontier.

Monday to Friday: 0630, 0645, 0700, 0715, 0730, 0745, 0800, 0815, 0830, 0845, 0900, then at the same minutes past each hour until: 1845, 1915, 1930, 2000, 2030 and 2100.

Saturday: 0630, 0700, 0720, 0730, 0800, 0820, 0840, 0900, 0920, 0940, 1000, 1030, 1050, 1110, 1130, 1150, 1210, 1230, 1250, 1310, 1330, 1400, 1430, 1500, then at the same minutes past each hour until the last bus at 2100.

Sunday: 0800, 0830, 0900, 0930, 1000, 1030, then at the same minutes past the hour until the last bus at 2100.

Departure Times From Europa Point to the Airport/Frontier:

Monday to Friday: 0650, 0705, 0720, 0745, 0800, 0815, 0830, 0845, 0900, and then at the same minutes past each hour until, 1915, 1940, 2000, 2030 and 2100.

Saturday: 0700, 0730, 0750, 0800, 0830, 0850, 0910, 0930, 0950, 1010, 1040, 1100, 1120, 1140, 1200, 1220, 1240, 1300, 1320, 1340, 1400, 1430, 1500, then at the same times past each hour until the last bus at 2100.

The Number 4.

Route Rosia Bay to Both Worlds - Both Worlds to Rosia Bay:

To Both Worlds you have both Eastern Beach and Catalan Bay, while if you alight at Rosia Bay you can visit the historic Parsons Lodge and the 100-ton gun
